Japanese society is aging rapidly. In 2025, the ratio of old people who are over 65 years old will be 27% of whole population. It is important to make good living and social environment for various generations. The difference of hearing ability can obstruct and influence good communication between the youth and the aged. In some case, this may be not only because of the difference of hearing ability itself, but because of their difference of the attitude toward the old people's hearing disability and inconvenience of daily life. In this study, an attitude survey about old people's hearing disability was conducted with young and old people, and the result was compared with their age and the experience of living with old family.
