The study examined environment/behavior coursework taught in accredited architectural program at universities in the United States. One hundred Department Chairs were asked to indicate if environment/behavior research was studied as part of the curriculum. Also, the method of teaching (lecture, studio) and which texts were used for the course(s). Twenty-five percent of the educators responded indicating that overall environment/behavior research was being addressed, however, at various levels of expertise. Also, the texts listed were varied with no dominant theoretical base.
