The second-largest city in Brandenburg, Cottbus dwells in Niederlausitz (Lower Lusatia) on the southern most edge of Spreewald. Cottbus, like most East German cities, has Altstadt, which is liberally sprinkled with historic buildings such as Klosterkirsche, Niederlausitzer Apotheke, Oberkirche St.Nikolai, Schlosskirche, Staatstheater Cottbus and others. While the natural potential of Spreewald is taking place, the built environment including old and new houses of Cottbus have a glorious view. BTU Cottbus creates a nice atmosphere, consists of youth, which is the life energy of a place, and also the university's activities in changing the built environment are together with the technology and the age of the time, as it should be.
