Homes, the family and neighborhood are the basic media for child's primary experience of social life. Thus, home environments in have significant effectes on the physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. The sociocultural and socioeconomical transformations as a consequence of rapid urbanization process have effects on the urban physical structures. The important fact is that the children are one of the most effected and influenced group experiencing the social and spatial changes. An empirical study will be made in various urban residential areas in order to analyze the 'concept of home' in children.
