"This study explored the sound perception of the residents in two Parisian districts new adjustments of the roadway system (“30 zone”). Then we compared the perception of "30 zone" to the perception of the streets without installation. We can assume that in this privileged environment (“30 zones”) the quality of the life contributes to a positive evaluation of sound environment for the inhabitants. The results confirmed this assumption. Indeed, we noted several differences in sound perception according to the place of dwelling (“30 zones” versus other streets)."
