A detailed case study was undertaken in Clerkenwell, London, during a three months period (November, December, January, 2004-2005) to explore and understand issues relating to urban environmental quality. Indoor, outdoor environmental conditions and residents views and attitudes on living in the area data were collected. The results showed that the indoor thermal conditions in twenty nine naturally ventilated homes had a mean air temperature and relative humidity of 19.7°C and 42.7% respectively.
